With only a few film rolls in your pocket you don’t take pictures of everything. You push the camera button deliberately, only when the moment fits. Calculated scarcity. For this trip in 2000 I was traveling with my 1978 PORST SLR camera (PORST compact-reflex with 1,8 lens) and one 36 images film. Anticipating the Scottish weather with a lot of fog my choice was Ilford HP5 Plus 35mm film with ISO 400 to reflect the graininess of both landscape and weather.
